Stanley Kolodzie, 86, of Falls City died Nov. 30, 2012 in Floresville.

Stanley was born on Jan. 2, 1926 in Falls City to Nick Kolodzie and Lena Swierc Kolodzie. Stanley and Lucy Felix were married on June 10, 1947 in Panna Maria. Stanley was a veteran serving in the Air Force for 38 years in the Civil Service, retiring as a Sector Manager for the FAA at Houston Intercontinental Airport. He was active in the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Falls City where he was a Deacon, member of the Knights of Columbus, and he was a former Mayor of Falls City.

Survivors include his wife Lucy of Falls City; daughters, Elaine Butler and husband Chris of Houston, Sharon Brown and husband Tom of Fruitland, Utah, and Annette Kolodzie of Portland, Oregon; sons, Stanley Kolodzie Jr. and wife Suzanne of Walnut Creek, California, and Michael Kolodzie of Falls City; grandchildren Colin Butler, Katie Kolodzie, and Kristie Kolodzie; brother Nicky Kolodzie; and sisters Dolores Greiner, Margaret Demunbrun, Lydia Dolch, Danelle Daniels and Janie Kolodzie.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers Lawrence and Ronald Kolodzie.

A rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m., Monday, Dec. 3 at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church with a funeral Mass at 10 a.m., Tuesday Dec. 4.

Interment followed in the Falls City Cemetery.
