Stark to appear at Jamboree

REFUGIO — Stacy Stark of Portland is one of five entertainers who will take center stage a the Refugio County Jamboree on Thursday, Jan. 24, at the Refugio Community Center.

The show will kick off at the Refugio County Community Center at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $5 a person.

Along with Stark, Don Alkin of Canada, Ray Crittenden of Corpus Christi, Harvey Bailey of Victoria and Ronnie Murray of Mathis will join the Jamboree Band for three hours of live country music entertainment.

The Jamboree Band, a seven piece group that accompanies the guest performers, is loaded with experience and talent.

The band leader and drummer, Rick Faircloth, of Yoakum and formerly of Victoria, has more than 40 years in the music business. The last 30 years, Faircloth served as leader of The Whisky River Band.

Sandwiches, desserts, freshly cooked hamburgers and drinks will be served in the concession area.
