One of the great seasonal sports is to drive through neighborhoods to look at Christmas lights. Or better yet, to be invited into the warmth and comfort of homes to see the decorative creativity inside. Many have themes; all have memories, for what time of year is more fitting for nostalgia?

Residents will again open their doors and share their love of Christmas with everyone as part of the Beeville Art Association’s 30th annual Christmas Home Tour. The tour is Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.

Tickets for the tour can be purchased at the door of any of the homes or in advance at Hogue’s Jewelry, Wicker Basket, Zimmer Floral & Nursery, Hensley’s and the Bee County Chamber of Commerce. Tickets are $10 apiece for adults and $3 for children (ages 12 and under). For information, call 343-3119.

Homes on this year’s tour are: Residents of 801 E. Gramman St.; Kelly McNeese, 4802 N. Business 181; Gwen & Dennis DeWitt, 178 Fairway Ridge; and Michelle Wishert, High Country Estates, 130 Mesquite Circle.
