Editor:

Why do you hate President Obama? Why do you hate the needy? You claim to be Christians but violate one of God’s most powerful commandments: “Love your neighbor as you love yourself.” Only a greedy, selfish and wicked person would want to deny the needy the help that they need.

How can you quote something from the Bible and not see what you are quoting? In 2 Chronicles 7:14, it says “turn from your wicked ways; then I will hear from Heaven and will forgive your sins and will heal your land.” A wise man once said that a blind man wants to see but cannot see, and a person who can see does not want to see.

President Obama did not deliver all he promised, because the party on the right was blocking everything he wanted to pass. When jobs were created, the governors of those states got the credit; when jobs were lost, the blame went to President Obama. President Bush was given the credit for the capture of a terrorist when he was president. But now that a terrorist is captured, the credit goes to the Navy Seals. What a bunch of hypocrites!

You were all so sure Romney was going to win, and when he lost, you all claim that you saw it coming. Ha! What a laugh. He lost because he did not reach out to all the people, especially the Hispanics and the women voters. When his supporters said all the nasty stuff about women and Romney embraced the SB 1070 law and said that this law would serve as a role model law for this nation, I started laughing and said, “This poor fool has just lost the race!”

The fact that even with a Democrat controlled congress, Obama failed to pass a number of bills strikes me as being at odds with those who call him a dictator. Freedom of choice, freedom to choose your lover, freedom from religious zealots...what is Obama, the dictator of freedom?

I agree that there are takers who find the easy way out instead of doing their fair share, but this is a small minority.

Consider that 35% of welfare fraud comes from doctors and health care providers. These are some of the wealthiest people in our country, yet I don't Fedup or any other so-called patriots whining about those people. If we're going to cut federal spending, the wealthy "takers" need to be included in this discussion.

Mr. Perez employs a typical liberal tactic i.e. demonize anyone with whom you disagree.

The Democrats controlled the Senate, the House and the Presidency for the first 2 yrs of Obama's first term. He could have passed anything he wanted. The Democrat controlled Senate blocks every bill the House passes. Harry Reid will not even bring the bills to the floor for a vote.

The Senate has not proposed a budget in 4 years, as required by law, and would not vote on budgets passed by the House. Not a single Democrat voted for Obama's budget. It is no wonder that the national debt increased by nearly 6 trillion $ in Obama's first term.

The conservative message is for all Americans i.e. personal responsibility; constitutional (limited) government; respect for the rule of law; equality of opportunity (not outcomes). To tailor a message for a specific ethnic group or gender is racist, sexist and and demeaning.

Arizona's SB 1070 simply enforces existing federal law. Mr. Perez seems to believe that anyone who wants should be able to enter this country illegally and become instant citizens.

Here is another Bible Quote: 11 Thessalonians 3:10 "---this we commanded you, that any who would not work, neither should he eat." I believe that basic necessities should be provided for those who cannot provide for themselves, not for those who will not. Liberals are certainly generous with other people's money.

Typical liberal tactic? Yes, Mr. Perez is right--the haters are out there.

Now speaking about typical conservative tactics--the second paragraph is completely false. You are well aware that the Republicans in the Senate filibustered every piece of legislation that the Democrats proposed. However, you continue to repeat and perpetuate this lie even when called upon your fiction just a few weeks ago.

The conservative message for all Americans was soundly rejected at the ballot box a few weeks ago. The Republicans lost seats in the House and Senate and the president was re-elected with over a 4 million vote majority and a landslide victory in the Electoral College.

Breaking News: The Republicans lost the election, they can't demand anything and I'm pleased as a Georgia peach that their oppressive and regressive legislative BS will never be implemented! Those are the consequences of losing the election and Republicans need to stop acting like the petulant jerks and accept reality.

And before I forget--EXCELLENT LETTER MR. PEREZ!

I neglected to mention that Bishop Willard's receiving only 47% of the popular vote was pleasingly ironic. Take that fact home with you and sleep well for the next four years!

I'm also pleased that conservatives won't be able to keep funding the military industrial complex and corporate welfare schemes. After all, conservatives are certainly generous with other people's money (e.g. Bush's two unpaid wars, Medicare Part D, two ridiculous tax cuts that benefitted the wealthy).

First of all.......OH PLEASE !!! Second of all, there is a big difference between needy and lazy. We're supporting the lazy. Case in point...a lady where I live said she voted for Obama so she could see what else she's going to get for free for the next 4 years. THAT'S the mentality Obama has promoted and it was bad enough before he came along. And NONE of it is free. Someone has to pay for it. I don't mind helping the needy but I resent being forced to help the lazy.

And yes, credit does go to the Navy Seals for the killing of Bid Laden. Those plans were set in motion under the Bush administration, and they brought it home. The only credit Obama gets from me is breaking this country, dividing this country, and leaving a horrendouse mess for our children and grandchildren to be saddled with.

And by the way, I also resent my tax dollars being used so the First Lady can live in the lap of luxury. Did you happen to catch the photo of her and her kids wrapped in the African flag at the Olympics? Like I said at the beginning.....OH PLEASE !!!!!!
