She was born Jan. 6, 1927, in Goliad County to Tomasa and Felipe Arredondo. She married Adalberto Treviño on Aug. 29, 1948. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church and enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening and reading. Her family was her pride and joy.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Adalberto Treviño of Olmos; a daughter, Adela (Ray) Muñoz of Beeville; two sons, Luis (Mary Lou) Treviño and Alejandro (Jovita) Treviño, all of Beeville; six grandchildren, Luis Treviño Jr., David (Allison) Treviño, Anna Treviño, Kimberly (Johnny Amador) Treviño, Victoria (Marty Botello) Treviño and Desiree (Josh) Webb; four great-grandchildren, Matthew Treviño, Joshua Amador, Johnny Amador Jr. and Jeremiah Botello.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.
A private family visitation was held Tuesday, Dec. 18, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Treviño Funeral Home. Public visitation was held there Wednesday, Dec. 19, from 1 to 9 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:30 p.m.
The funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church with Father Luke Thirunellieparambil officiating. Burial followed at San Pedro Cemetery in the Clareville Community.
Pallbearers were Ray Muñoz Jr., Joshua Webb, Luis Treviño Jr., David Treviño, Gilbert Arredondo and Jaime Perez.
