Ryland Wieding, a student at Roger E. Sides Elementary in Karnes City, went fishing with Dad, Ronnie Wieding over the Labor Day weekend in Port Aransas.  The two of them went on a 4-hour bay fishing trip in the bay of Port Aransas.  Ryland caught a 22 lb. Redfish while on the trip.  The fish took over 10 minutes to reel into the boat.  This was his first “real” fish to catch.
