The Karnes City Lady Badgers softball team’s season came to an end in Bay City on Friday, May 3 in the area championship playoff series. Danbury won the first of the “best of three” series by a score of 7-6, and also won the second game that followed thirty minutes after the end of the first game by a score of 14-1. Danbury will now advance to the next playoff round.
