The City of George West and Unify to Beautify (UTB) will sponsor a Pride/Clean-up day on Saturday, Jan. 22 for George West Residential Garbage Customers only. Residents must present a City utility billing stub before participating to verify garbage service.

Officials urge all citizens to roll up their sleeves and take advantage of this clean-up day. Designated trash receptacles will be located at the City Yard on 110 Business 59 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. No tires will be accepted on this clean-up day. Should any of the receptacles fill, that portion of the cleanup will close.
