Mrs. Garza was born on June 8, 1918, in Pettus to Pablo Carrillo and Dominga Perales.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Camilo Garza; and a son, Camilo Garza Jr.
Survivors include five sons, Luis (Hermelinda) Garza of Robstown, Ruben (Maria Lupe) Garza of Robstown, Jose (Lydia) Garza of Grand Prairie, Pablo Garza and Raul Garza, both of Beeville; five daughters, Alicia (Juan) Maldonado of Robstown, Carolina (Andres) Martinez of Corpus Christi, Diana (Joe) Caudillo of Haltom City and Mary (Jose) Vasquez and Christina (Enrique) Hernandez, both of Beeville; one sister, Sofia Longoria of Beeville; and several nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Treviño Funeral Home chapel. A rosary was recited there that evening at 7:30.
The funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. James Catholic Church with Rev. Pasala officiating. Burial followed at the Pettus Cemetery.
Pallbearers were her grandsons, Benito Garcia, Luis Garcia, Luis Garcia Jr., Carlos Garcia, Ruben Garza and Edward Garcia.
