A state-of-the-industry review of the cattle market will be presented by CattleFax Executive Vice President Randy Blach during the closing general session of the 2011 TSCRA Convention Weekend, April 1-3 in San Antonio.

“The national cow herd is near a historic low,” said Dave Scott, rancher and TSCRA president. “Randy Blach will be at convention to discuss what this means for producers and guide them on potential risks and ways to manage and protect their bottom lines.”

Blach is CEO of CattleFax, an organization focused on helping cattle producers make more profitable marketing and management decisions. CattleFax is the cattle and beef industry leader in timely market information, analyses and research.

As the largest cattle industry event in Texas, the TSCRA Convention is a must-attend for anyone involved in livestock production. More than 2,000 ranchers, landowners and members will gather for a weekend of outstanding programs, educational sessions, a trade show with more than 200 exhibits, plus networking and fellowship with fellow cattle raisers.
