Palm Sunday began with a remembering of how people once lined the street with cloaks and branches for Jesus to ride over as he entered Jerusalem. The Gospel readings, Matthew 26 & 27, reminded us of how quickly the “hosannas” turned to “crucify him”, how the disciples scattered in fear, how Jesus was humiliated, scourged and murdered. On Good Friday our worship begins at 8:00 PM. On Sunday, Jesus’ resurrection will be celebrated at a Sunrise Service beginning at 7:00. Easter breakfast will be served at 8:30. An Easter Egg hunt will begin at 9:45. Jesus’ resurrection will again be celebrated at a worship service at 10:45. Out to Pasture - Good Shepherd’s gospel band will play at both worship services. All are welcome!
