Megan Nicole “Meg” Diaz, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 29, 2011, at the age of 20 after a battle with cancer. Megan was born October 16, 1990, in Baytown, Texas, to Albert and Belinda (Pendergraph) Diaz. Megan graduated from Ganado High School, Ganado Texas in 2009. She was currently attending University of Houston-Victoria pursuing a business degree.

Megan loved life and enjoyed it to the fullest and expressed her joy of life with her family, friends, hobbies (art, photography) and sports. Megan was well known for her beautiful smile, the size of the State of Texas. Megan was known for great leadership and loved children.

She is survived by her parents, two sisters, Amanda (Mody) Rodriguez and Katy Diaz; nephew, Jackson Rodriguez; grandmothers, Terry Pendergraph of Beeville, Texas and Trinidad Diaz of Tuleta, Texas, several aunts, uncles, cousins.

Predeceased by grandfathers, John Pendergraph of Beeville, Texas and Pedro Diaz of Mineral, Texas.

Viewing was Sunday, May 1, from 5-8 p.m. and rosary was at 7 p.m. at Ganado Funeral Home.

Funeral mass was celebrated on Monday, May 2, at 10 a.m. at Assumption Catholic Church in Ganado.

Burial followed at Assumption Cemetery in Ganado.
