The devotion for this week is “Believe” by Desiree Buehring. Scripture is from James 1:19 “”This” said the Lord, ”is so that they may believe that the Lord, the God of their fathers – the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob – has appeared to you.” People say that when you believe in God then with Him at your side you will never fail. Well I believe that because God helped me deal with a lot of things. The most recent one being, when He helped me pass Algebra for the nine weeks at school. The Lord helped me believe in myself, that I could do anything through Him. The Lord our god will always watch over us and help us when we need Him.

Thought: Always believe God is with you.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for always being there when I need you. I also thank you for making me see that You are always there for me and the choices I make. Amen
