Pablo and Carolina were married on June 16, 1936, in Beeville, where they have lived their entire married lives. They had eight children, three of whom are deceased. They also raised three other children in the family and helped to raise three grandchildren. They have 29 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
More than 400 family members and friends from as far away as New York, New Mexico, Nevada, Alabama and Louisiana attended the celebration.
