Bill Dywer, president and CEO of LPL Financial, focused heavily on the value of implementing an independent advisor in the financial planning process. And former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice gave her opinion on the importance of the entrepreneur and how the ability to offer clients exactly what they need versus what the company wants is invaluable.
Approximately 13,000 LPL Financial advisors from around the United States gathered at McCormick Place Convention Center for a week full of opportunities to network, receive recognition for their achievements and enjoy leisure time with peers.

Upon his arrival Jason was asked to speak about his practice and what it meant to him:
“I always had a vision of creating a wealth management group which offered something more than just the standard financial planning and investment packages. And now that I have more than 14 years of experience in both the Insurance and Financial services industry, I am so proud and blessed to have enabled 100’s of individuals as well as families and businesses achieve success in their financial future. This business is one which will give you the opportunity to have life long relationships with people. And when I accepted my invitation to come to Chicago I thought about the people of Live Oak County. There were so many days and nights I would sit back and wonder if I could provide value and confidence in a community that had never even had a financial news article published in the Progress Ever! So you can imagine how I feel now when I sit in my office and have both friends and clients come in and are excited about what the market has to offer. Even more in these troubled and uncertain times, it is important to help my clients understand their positions and provide knowledge and a recovery plan.
I am very appreciative of all the accolades this career has provided me; however the relationships I have established with all my clients here on Thursdays comes no- where close. Live Oak Investors would not exist if it wasn’t for the hospitality and loyalty we have been given. And rest assured as times get better and the economy continues to correct itself we will do everything we can to continue participating and supporting the entire community for years to come.”
Jason is currently sitting for his CRPC designation this fall which will allow him to become a Charted Retirement Planning Counselor from the College of Financial Planning, a tool he feels will be vital going forward when it comes to assisting his clients achieve financial freedom in their retirement
