Voting delegates from Bee County Farm Bureau recently participated in the 75th annual Texas Farm Bureau convention Dec. 6-8 held in Corpus Christi.

Ernest Boemer, Bee County Farm Bureau president, was the attending voting delegate for Bee County. Also, on hand from Bee County was Phil Ermis, DSM for Texas Farm Bureau District 9. Policies directing the state’s largest farm organization were adopted by more than 1,200 delegates from 207 organized Farm Bureaus. Approved recommendations on national policies will advance to the American Farm Bureau Federation annual meeting to be held in January in San Antonio.

Addressing the delegates were Kenneth Dierschke, Texas Farm Bureau president, and Vernie Glasson, Texas Farm Bureau executive director. The business session covered the final day of the meeting. The last order of business was the election of the president, Kenneth Dierschke of San Angelo.
