We, at the Karnes City Area Chamber of Commerce have been thoroughly blessed of late. And, we invite all of you to come by and see what’s been going on. We were closed the last week of September while the Yanta Construction Company did a thorough make-over of our office. And, it has become a truly beautiful and efficient office with newly painted walls and a brand new floor that looks like marble, but is in fact, Dura-Ceramic Congoleum. And this blessing is provided, of course, by the Eagle-Ford Shale!

And we know from Whom the blessing of rain has come and we are among the many who are thanking Him daily for the much needed rain and the fall-like weather. And since there is the saying that bad things come in threes, or triplet, we have even had our third good thing occur, proving that the opposite is true, too. And that is the arrival of our new Karnes County maps!

Yes, our Karnes County maps have arrived! And they are available at the Chamber office and other places as well, mostly for those who asked for some to give out to their customers. And, or course, if you paid for an ad and would like copies of the map, just call me at the office and we’ll be glad to let you have some to share.

My goodness, it certainly seems the drought has really broken. Let’s hope it keeps up from now on so that we don’t have to go through 100 degree plus days and such terribly dry weather for a long, long time, if ever, again.

So, count your blessings and come by the office at 210 East Calvert. Or, if you need the Chamber to help you with anything, just give us a call at 830-780-3112. ‘Til next time.
