The state mandated fee is $15 for the 10-hour class and you must have a Social Security number. Youth under 18 years old must have parent signature. The course starts on Saturday at 9 a.m. and ends Sunday beginning at 9 a.m.
Every Texas hunter born on or after Sept. 2, 1971 must successfully complete the course. If you are age 9-16, you must successfully complete the course or you must accompanied.*
If you are age 17 and over you must successfully complete a Hunter Education course or purchase a one-time-only Hunter Education Deferral.
