The Brush Country Cowboy Church held a #13 Team Roping on Sunday, Jan. 8. Trophy saddles and a 70% payout were awarded to the average winners of the team roping.

Contestants were required to attend the morning church service in order to enter the team roping. Pat Traxler, Pastor of BCCC, brought the message and the BCCC Band provided toe-tapping gospel music for the large crowd.

The roping started with the posting of the American and Texas flags carried by Morgan Holder and Diane Kidd. Winners of the team roping are First place Trophy Saddle winners were Juan Gerardo Martinez and Willie Guerra. Second place winners were Juan Gerardo Martinez and Stevie Guajardo. Third place winners were Mundo Torres and Lynn Thornton. Fourth place winners were Pedro Morales and Christian Morris.

The BCCC Chuckwagon concession stand served great hamburgers, sausage wraps, beans, drinks and etc. Brush Country Cowboy Church has a service each Sunday morning at 10 a.m. Bring your family and friends. Everyone is welcome!
