The Beeville Rotary Club, as part of District 5840 of Rotary International, invites volunteers for ABC’s hit TV show “Extreme Makeover Home Edition,” which is coming to the San Antonio area Jan. 14- 22.

It is still a secret as to where the home will be, but Beeville Rotary has heard it will be near Floresville.

Volunteers and support are needed to build a home for a wounded warrior that needs a special residence. Builders and volunteers will be needed around the clock for skilled labor, general labor, safety, food service and cleanup.

Volunteers must be 18 years old and must sign a release form. The sign up is handled by Morgan’s Wonderland website ( for shift selection and to download release forms.

For business owners who can supply goods or services, there is a “tradeout” agreement on the “supporters” tab of the website. There is a great need for food donations to feed volunteers during the build process and at the “wrap party” on Jan. 22.

Beeville Rotary would like to use this unique opportunity to give back to one of our honored servicemen or women.
