Thanks to all the generous people who donated money or bought baked goods to help pay for Heather’s service dog. The response has been tremendous.

We never dreamed in just two months, we would receive approximately $7,000 for Heather’s service dog. While we still have a way to go before we reach the $12,969 goal still required to pay for her dog, we are confident we will get there.

People opened their arms and their hearts to support our little girl and we will be forever grateful.

A lot has happened since Feb. 16 of last year since Heather was diagnosed with Type I childhood diabetes. We have learned a lot and are still learning how to properly take care of our precious little girl.

Heather is no longer producing insulin so in the next few weeks, she will be fitted with an insulin pump so she will no longer have to be given the numerous injections required to keep her diabetes in control.

Again, thank you to everyone for your generosity, your well-wishes, and your prayers. We continue to count our blessings for your generosity.
