VICTORIA – The Lady Trojans opened their District 30-4A softball season on the wrong side of an 11-0 contest with the West Lady Warriors.

The home team picked up two runs in the bottom of the first and added three more runs in the second to take a 5-0 lead over the Beeville girls. A six-run explosion in the fourth put the game away and into the win column for the Warriors.

The Lady Trojans went scoreless in the top of the fifth, invoking the ten-run rule. Theresa Amador was the pitcher of record for the Lady Trojans.

No reports or stats were made available on the game.

The Lady Trojans will be back in Victoria next Tuesday night to take on the East Lady Titans. The next home game for the Beeville teams will be on March 23 when the Floresville Jaguars pay a visit to Beeville.
