The A.C. Jones varsity soccer teams are both in the playoffs and will pick up an area round game on Tuesday, April 3, after both teams received a first round, bi-district bye.

The Trojans finished fourth in the District 57-4A race while the Lady Trojans were second.

The Trojans will square off against Rockport-Fulton at 6 p.m. in Victoria. The Pirates are coming off a 4-0 win over Tuloso-Midway in Friday’s bi-district round. Rockport-Fulton was the runner-up in District 59 this year.

The Lady Trojans will host the Victoria East Lady Titans who defeated Flour Bluff 1-0 last week to advance to the area round. The local start time for the girls’ contest will be 8 p.m.

The Titans were the fourth place team from District 59 but they upset the Lady Hornets, the District 60 champions, to earn the right to meet the Beeville girls.
