“We did not come out ready to play against Ray,” said Lady Trojan head coach Greg Gonzales.
It was over pretty quick. Ray jumped out to a 47-13 lead by the half and cruised in with 26 points over the second half while holding the Lady Trojans to 18 markers after the halftime break.
Hillary Hennig led the Beeville girls in scoring with 14 points. Brandy Perez followed with six on two long-range jumpers. J.J. Hernanez added four points as did Cassandra Vela. Melanie Chargulaf hit for two points and Shanise Wilson had one free throw.
The Lady Trojans entertained the Gregory-Portland Ladycats last night (Friday) and will back in action on Jan. 30 when they travel to Miller.
