My family, friends, and I participated in Victoria’s 2nd Annual Walk for Autism two weeks ago. We walked for my son, Isaiah, who was labeled with Autism Spectrum Disorder when he was three years old; he is now 7. Our team name was Team Isaiah “Happy Feet.”

This was a first walk for us, and I want to thank everyone for their support — from family and friends who walked with us, to those in our community who gave donations: O’Daddy’s Bar and Grill, Talk of the Town Boutique, Dolled Up Salon, Hong Kong Palace, Galvan Super Towing, Bee Towing and family and friends from Beeville, Mathis, Port Lavaca, Corpus Christi and Victoria.

One very appreciative and proud mother,

Ana Alicia Arismendez-Salinas
