A.C. Jones chapter members Arielle Garcia, Taylor Jones and Kymberly Wolfe will join more than 5,000 other conference delegates from across the nation to participate in national level business skills competitions, workshops, general sessions and the national officer candidate campaigns and elections. Besides having the opportunity to excel, they’ll experience the city of Chicago along with its museums, parks and other attractions.
“The conference will be the culmination of a school year’s worth of business education and training, which members of the local chapter of Business Professionals of America at A.C. Jones have received,” said the JHS chapter advisor.
Arielle Garcia will be competing in Open Events and representing Area 2 Region 1 as the regional president. Taylor Jones will be competing in Medical Office Procedures and Open Events. Kymberly Wolfe will be competing in Advanced Interview Skills and Open Events.
In addition to the individual competitions, the attendees will be completing internships, representing the state of Texas as voting delegates, participating in a Walk For Special Olympics, competing for the merit scholar award and attending many workshops designed to enhance personal leadership skills.
