Joyce Lanelle Cox, 82, former administrator of Refugio Manor, died Jan. 24, 2009.
The former long-time Refugio resident was administrator from June 1967 until her retirement in Dec. 1991.
She was born June 3, 1926, in Columbus.
Survivors include her husband, Howard Cox, a daughter, Mary Ann Threadgill; two sons, William “Willie” Cox and his wife Shonah, and Darrell Cox; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at Mission Park Funeral Chapel in San Antonio at 9 a.m.
