Otto M. Forster, 90, of Beeville, died Friday, April 27, 2012, at his residence.

Mr. Forster was born March 22, 1922, in Victoria to Otto and Goldie Naslund Forster. He served in the U.S. Navy during WW II and the Korean Conflict. He was a retired civil service worker and also had worked for the California School District.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include four daughters, Leilia Andrews of California, Rebecca Liden and Goldie Banta, both of Beeville, Marlene Sosa of Santa Cruz, Calif.; one son, Oscar (Theresse) Schaffer of Dublic, Calif.; 18 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 5, at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any cancer organization.
