BEEVILLE – The Beeville Soccer Club has teamed up to host the weeklong British Soccer camp again, during the week of June 11-15 this year at the Beeville Soccer Fields, behind the Boys and Girls Club.

The camp will run Monday through Friday, and each child will be coached by a member of Challenger’s British coaching staff flown to the USA exclusively to work on these programs. Challenger will hold more than 2,000 British Soccer camps this summer and will coach more than 100,000 players between the ages of 4 and 18 and more than 20,000 parents and coaches. The camp is available for children 3-18, and is a great summer activity for children of all abilities.

Challenger’s British Soccer Camp is more than a week of drills and skills. In addition to taking part in a daily regimen of foot skill development, technical and tactical practices and daily tournament style plays, each child will also be treated to a rich cultural experience and lessons on respect, responsibility, integrity, leadership and sportsmanship.

The most popular part of each camp is the Camp World Cup. The coaches use this daily tournament to teach the players about life, customs and traditions of other countries. The campers are asked to make up cheers, bring flags, dress up and learn as much as they can about the country they represent.

The Beeville Soccer Club will be offering British Soccer camp sessions for the following ages: Age 3 - $80, ages 4 and 5 - $90, and ages 6 to 18 - $120.

The Beeville Soccer Club also has added a new feature this year for those that would like a little extra skill development. It is called Golden Goal Camp, and is an extra two hours for children 6-18 for an additional $45. Teams are also welcome to attend and receive a week of focused instruction to prepare them for the fall season.

Each camper will receive a free camp T-shirt, soccer ball, giant soccer poster and an individual skills performance evaluation. Space is limited – parents are encouraged to sign up on line in advance to avoid disappointment.

To sign up for the camp either visit or contact Scott or Becky Taylor at 361-362-2507 or email
