The Ladies Guild of Bayside is offering its 2nd annual “Charm of Copano Bay Necklace” to raise funds to benefit Bayside students and fire fighters.

The winning raffle ticket will be drawn on July 4, at 6 p.m. in Driscoll Rooke Covenant Park on the bayfront in Bayside.

“You do not need to be present to win and the winner will be called at 6,” said Marti Conn, organizer. “The Ladies Guild deeply appreciates Mr. and Mrs. Roy Torres’ generous donation of the 2012 “Charm of Copano Bay Necklace” for our 4th of July raffle.”

The 15 inch sterling silver necklace by Suzanne’s Jewelers is adorned with four sterling silver Pandora charms is a one-of-a-kind design and is exceptionally beautiful, Conn said.

Raffle tickets are $1 each or $5 for six tickets and may be purchased at the Refugio Chamber of Commerce, 301 N. Alamo St. in Refugio, phone 361 526-2835 and at Bayside Grocery, Highway 136, Bayside, phone 361 529-6401 or from any Ladies Guild member.

In addition, tickets will be sold during the Bayside Fire Fighter Appreciation Dinner at the Bayside Community Center, 909 First Street, on Monday, May 21, at 6:30 p.m. and at the Bayside 4th of July Celebration in Driscoll Rooke Covenant Park until 6 p.m .when the raffle cage will be tumbled and the necklace given to the lucky winner.
