Lorene Perkins, 92, of Normanna, died Sunday, May 27, 2012.

Mrs. Perkins was born March 29, 1920, in Bee County to August Charlie and Ollie (Roberts) Voss. She was a member of the Normanna Baptist Church and was a homemaker and enjoyed decorating cakes and crocheting.

Survivors include a sister, Mary Pearce of Houston; two brothers, Marvin (Betty) Voss of Normanna and Alfred Voss of Medina; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Monday, May 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel.

The funeral service was conducted there Tuesday morning, May 29, at 11 o’clock. Interment followed at San Domingo Cemetery in Normanna.
