Patricia Gonzales, 53, of Beeville, died Friday, May 25, 2012, in Victoria.

Mrs. Gonzales was born Feb. 1, 1959, in Beeville to Dominga Rodriguez Gonzales and Emiliano Gonzales. She worked as a cafeteria employee for Beeville I.S.D.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Survivors include her husband, Jesus Cantu of Beeville; her mother, Dominga R. Gonzales of Beeville; a son, Jesus “Trey” Cantu of Beeville; two daughters, Janet (Mark) Gallagher of Beeville and Jessica Gonzales of Victoria; a grandson, John Gallagher; five brothers, Emiliano (Sandra) Gonzales of Beeville, Ernesto (Flora) Gonzales of Abilene, Raymond Gonzales of Tulsa, Okla., Arturo (Wilma) Gonzales of Arlington and Richard Daniel (Victoria) Gonzales of El Centro, Calif.; four sisters, Gloria G. (Maximo) Molina of Houston, Yolanda (Roy) Boren of Verdigris, Okla., Rosario Cruz Gonzales of Tulsa, Okla., and Irene Gonzales of Tucson, Ariz.

Visitation was held Tuesday, May 29, from 11 to 9 p.m. at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. A rosary was recited there that evening at 7 o’clock.

The funeral Mass was celebrated Wednesday, May 30, at 10 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church. Interment will take place at a later date.

Serving as pallbearers are Trey Cantu, Emiliano Gonzales, Jesus Cantu Jr., Arturo Gonzales, Richard Daniel Gonzales, Maximo Molina, Mark Gallagher, Hector Andaverde Jr. and Reyes Gonzales.
