WOODSBORO — Mr. and Mrs. Jaime S. Cano of Woodsboro are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Jaimie Sadie Cano, to Marcus Anthony Flores, son of Gloria Flores of Beeville and the late Robert L. Flores.

Jaimie is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rudy O. Garcia of Woodsboro and Mrs. Antonia Cano of Beeville and the late Joe W. Cano. Marcus is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Antonio Loya of Beeville and the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Flores, formerly of Beeville.

The couple met while attending Coastal Bend College.

Jaimie graduated from Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi in May with her bachelor’s degree in communication.

Marcus is attending Texas A&M University- Kingsville, where he is a junior. He is studying civil engineering.

The couple will exchange vows at 4 p.m. Saturday, June 30, at St. Therese Catholic Church in Woodsboro.
