Taylor is a 2003 graduate of Goliad/Pettus High School and a 2007 graduate of University of Texas at San Antonio. As a student, he served two years as president of the Real Estate Law Society. His parents are Sherry and Dean Myers of Rockport and Chuck Taylor of Goliad, and grandparents are Sis and Teddy Ray Taylor and the late James and Charlene Horny, also of Goliad. Taylor will sit for the July Texas Bar Exam.
Commencement for the 295 graduates was held at the George R. Brown Convention Center in downtown Houston and featured Washington, D.C. attorney and film producer Sig Libowitz as speaker. South Texas College of Law is Houston’s oldest and only private law school, founded in 1923.
