The Rotary International Club of Beeville meets at noon on Wednesdays at the Beeville Country Club.

Guest speakers for the month of January were John West, who spoke about his Alaska bear trip; Martha Warner, county attorney; Patty Dobson with the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) students; and Blant Miller, president of the Beeville Rotary.

Guests during the month were Dr. O.B. Vaughn of Corpus Christi; Sherri Brown, S-TISD counselor; Frank Warner; Father Al Ridge of St. Philip’s Episcopal Church; and Malika Hennies, Rotary Exchange Student Program.

Rotary members volunteered for the food bank distribution at the First Baptist Church and First United Methodist Church. The next scholarship fundraiser is the Rotary-Ryder Golf Tournament to be announced at a later date.
