San Marcos — Texas State University-San Marcos announces that the following area students were among the graduates during the 2012 spring commencement ceremonies at the university:

• Madeline R. Bell of Beeville received a bachelor’s degree in mass communication - advertising.

• Daniel Senties of Beeville received a bachelor’s degree in musical studies.

• Risa I. Brown of Three Rivers received a bachelor’s degree in studio art.

• Danielle L. Garcia of Three Rivers received a bachelor’s degree in management.

With an enrollment of 34,113 students, Texas State is the largest campus in the Texas State University System.

Also, the following students have been named to TSU’s Dean’s List for the 2012 spring semester:

• Jerika K. Fira, Jake Andrew Stanley and Erin T. Tabb, all of Beeville;

• Jenna Elizabeth Diaz of Kenedy;

• Ashley E. Benson of Normanna;

• Loree R. Nunez of Runge; and

• Lindsey Raye McNeill of Three Rivers.

With an enrollment of 34,113 students, Texas State is the largest campus in the Texas State University System and has been named one of America’s Best Value Colleges by the Princeton Review.
