He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Robertson Postert; his second wife, Ginger Hamrick Postert; a sister, Kathleen Postert Goldap; and his son, Timothy Postert.
Survivors include a daughter, five sons, a sister, brother, numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews, from both Postert and Hamrick families.
A memorial Mass was held Wednesday, July 11, at 11 a.m. at St. George’s Catholic Church in George West. A light luncheon was served after the service.
