McCurdys celebrate golden anniversary
John is the son of William and Doris McCurdy of Beeville and the grandson of William O. McCurdy, founder of the Beeville Bee newspaper, and Elizabeth Wood McCurdy. Linda is the daughter of World War II veteran Al and Marian Hausmann.
The McCurdys have lived in Beeville for 12 years since his retirement from Flint Hills refinery in 1997 and have three children, Daniel Clark McCurdy of San Antonio, Jennifer Lynn McCurdy of Austin and Emily Carol McCurdy of Apple Valley, Minn.
