BEEVILLE – On July 14 at the Beeville Expo Center pavilion, the six finalists for the “Bee ’N Idol” competition will take the stage at the second annual “Fusion Music Fest.”

The finalists will perform one song to a panel of three judges, including special guest judge Machy De La Garza, and they will then choose the top three contestants to perform a final song for first, second and third place.

The top three contestants will receive trophies, with the first place winner also receiving recording time at ZMJ Studios, a professional photo shoot with Armando Musquez Photography, an appearance on Channel 3’s Domingo Live TV show, and will represent “Bee ’N Idol” at other upcoming events as well as more prizes to be announced.

The 2011 “Bee ’N Idol” winner, Sydnie Maguire, will also perform throughout the event.

The Bee ’N Idol contest has been put together with the intention of drawing all vocally-talented Bee County residents between the ages of 12 to 18 who may want to pursue a career in the music industry.

The contest provides a platform to give young individuals an opportunity to show their talent locally and offer them exposure within the community.

The second annual contest is founded and organized by Roberto Cisneros of Beeville.
