Local leaders to target stimulus package projects

The county commissioners, mayors from all the communities and other leaders will meet Monday, Feb. 16, at 2 p.m. to target projects as part of the national stimulus package.

County Judge Rene Mascorro has been in contact with representatives from Senator Kay Bailey Hutchisons office as well as from U.S. Rep. Ruben Hinojosa’s office.

This will be a public, open forum meeting.
