The Bayside Historical Society apologizes to all the people who attended our meeting on Saturday, Feb. 14, expecting to hear a talk on “The Spanish Shipwrecks of 1544.”
Inexplicably and without notice, our invited speaker presented a talk on another topic. When confronted, the speaker offered to return his speaker’s fee.
The Bayside Historical Society regrets this incident and will be more diligent in the future with our invited speakers.
