Beginning in August, students will wear them around their neck or clip it to their clothing. The students will scan their IDs when buying lunch, checking out a library book, or even getting on the bus.
There has been no serious change to the dress code at the middle school; the only recent change made is that no camisoles should be visible. Students should wear a solid polo or T-shirt with no cami showing.
School drop-off areas also have changed. Sixth grade is still in the back circular student driveway, and seventh and eighth are in front of the building with one entrance and two exits.
During registration, Moreno Middle School will hand out updated schedules (schedules via the web are non-official and are still pending), locker assignments and student ID information.
Registration will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 15. Schedule is as follows:
Grade 6: 8:30-10 a.m. in the cafeteria;
Grade 7: 10 a.m.-noon in the cafeteria; and
Grade 8: 1-3 p.m. in the cafeteria.
