Coordinators are trying something different this year. The Beeville Police Department, Bee County Sheriff’s Office and Coastal Bend Crime Stoppers have teamed up to incorporated talent from all around the city. Some of the talent will include students from Moreno Middle School, A.C. Jones Hugh School and Coastal Bend College. Dancers from the Folklorico dance troop and The Dance Studio will perform, as well as Jump For Joy.
There will be a duck pond, fishing line game, face painting, craft tables, a dunking booth, moonwalk, ring toss game and free hot dogs, drinks and ice cream. The Beeville Police Department also will sponsor the engraving of bikes and skateboards at the event. Bark For Life will have a sign-up booth for its upcoming walk, and H-E-B will have a community health challenge.
“There will be much more, so come on out and have some community fun during National Night Out,” event organizers said.
