Margarito Ramos, 61, of Mathis, died on Thursday, March 5, 2009.

He was born in Sinton on Nov. 19, 1947, to Francisco C. Ramos and Margarita Pena. He was a Catholic and a farm worker.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Soila Ramos; and one brother, Francisco Ramos Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Serafina Munoz Ramos of Mathis; one sister, Senaida Gonzales of Mathis; and three brothers, Jose Maria Ramos of Sinton, Victor Ramos of St. Paul, and Juan Ramos of Skidmore.

A rosary was to be recited at 7 p.m. Friday at the VFW Hall in Mathis. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today (Saturday) at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Mathis. Burial will follow at Descanso Eterno #2 in Mathis.

Arrangements were entrusted to Treviño Funeral Home.
