Dear Bee County,

Wow! How good it feels to live in such a wonderful community! Our “Ladies Night Out” was a huge success once again, and our committee is thrilled with the support we received this year.

A big heartfelt “Thank you” goes out to all of our wonderful sponsors, vendors, volunteers, and, of course, all the beautiful ladies who came to enjoy an evening of shopping, eating and fun.

We had the largest number of vendors this year and some traveled from as far as Houston, San Antonio, Corpus and Jourdanton. We had quite an array of things to shop for and there weren’t too many ladies who left without a shopping bag hanging from their arm.

Aside from all the fun, and most importantly, we are especially excited about the money we raised this year which will be used at Christus Spohn Hospital Beeville to create a “child friendly” patient room, the purchase of pediatric infusion pumps, pediatric wheelchair and special electronic games to help entertain the young patients. Mom and Dad are not forgotten either; we will also buy a nice sleeper chair to make their stay a little easier. For the first time, we will also donate a portion of the funds toward a Healthcare Scholarship.

A special thank you goes to Jerry Rodriguez, VP/COO of Christus Spohn Beeville, and Linda Arnold, director of development of Christus Spohn Healthcare Systems.
