The Three Rivers Varsity Tennis team traveled to Seguin to play in the Stockdale tennis tournament this past Thursday. In boys doubles action, Jonathan Sulaica and Wesley Roberts defeated Mikolajczyk/Caldras of Poteet 8-2.

In the second round, the duo was bested by Johnson/Gonzales of Gonzales in a hard fought match, 8-4. Jonathan Luna and Jacob Carvajal defeated Duenes/Vickery of Kenedy 8-0 before losing to the eventual tournament second place team Mueller/Ramsay of Navarro in a hard fought match, 8-5.

In mixed doubles action, Jacob Moran and Sarai Rodriguez lost their first round matchup against Holmes/Ramirez of Gonzales 9-7. Moran and Rodriguez would go on to win the consolation bracket beating Sturm/Swango of Runge 8-0, Criswell/Uribe of Poteet 6-1, and Rhodes/Sandoval of Marion 6-1.
