Rep. Yvonne Gonzalez Toureilles recognized Live Oak County’s unique heritage and the late George West Mayor August Caron, Jr. at the state capitol on Tuesday.

“It is always a great pleasure to honor the history, unique attributes and hard-working residents of each of the counties I represent,” Representative Gonzalez Toureilles said. “With respect to our late friend August Caron, Jr., his dedication to community, family and public service epitomizes the very essence of what we all aspire to accomplish during our lifetimes.”
