The court session in the State of Texas vs. Robert Busselman in the Karnes County juvenile probation building on Oct. 30 was very brief.
The case was brought forward in response to an incident in which Busselman failed to appear at a trial set in county court.
District Attorney Rene Pena was appointed to investigate and determine whether further action should be brought.
Pena told District Judge Dick Alcala that after his investigation he was asking the court to dismiss the case due to lack of evidence that there was willful contempt.
Alcala granted the motion to dismiss and said a dismissal order would be signed.
