In the past, Wreaths Across America, the ceremony to honor veterans, has happened on the second Saturday of December. This year that date has changed to Dec. 15, the third Saturday. In the future the date will be announced each year allowing enough time for the thousands of wreaths to be shipped to various places in the U.S.
Please put this event on your calendar. Wreaths Across America will be held on Dec. 15 at the Veteran’s Memorial Garden on Calvert Avenue, across from the courthouse, in Karnes City.
