Nell Wilkinson, 81, went to be with our Lord on December 3, 2012. She was born in Waelder, TX on February 22, 1931 to William Allie Sherry and Maggie Jane Popps Sherry. She married Ted Wilkinson and resided in Skidmore. Nell was an avid gardener, a member of The First Baptist Church, and was also the church custodian.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Maggie Sherry; her husband, Ted Wilkinson, and numerous brothers and sisters.

Those left to cherish her memories are her two brothers, Morris Sherry and James (Doris) Sherry; her sister, Pat (Ottie) Botard; her son, Mike (Pam) Wilkinson; her daughter, Yvonne (John) Norris; three grandchildren, Gabriel (Kim) Norris, Heather Norris and Linda (Danny) Dvorak; and five great-grandchildren, Allison, Julia, Elizabeth, Ty, and Daylin.

Visitation was held Thursday, December 6, 2012, from 1:30-2 pm at Evergreen Cemetery in Skidmore. A graveside service began there at 2 pm. Flowers welcome or memorials may be made to First Baptist in Skidmore or to the Diabetic Association.
